Books for SCJP 1.6 Exam.

So many people had sent me mails regarding the books to be followed for SCJP 1.6. My sincere suggestion to them was to follow “ SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Exam 310-065 “ written by Katherine Sierra and Bert Bates.

My Rating for this book is 10 / 10. But this is book not for a novice who started coding in Java recently. This book expects the user to have some basic knowledge in Java. This book does not cover the very basics of Java, however it covers the complete portion for SCJP 1.6. It has 10 chapters and at the end of each chapter you will find summary of the entire chapter and some 10-15 review questions. Believe me these questions are really tricky and lot tougher than the real exam questions. But don’t loose you heart, if you practice this kind of question clearly the exam is like cake walk.

This book accompanies with a CD-ROM, in that you will get 2 practice tests, and these exams are lot tougher than the real exam questions, but it will you a real feel about the exam. It is worth buying, if you are planning your career in Java and planning to give SCJP exam.
